AM: AEROBIC BUILDER

I decided my legs felt up to getting back to business as usual, and that means an aerobic builder on Tuesdays.  With it being 5 degrees outside, I headed to the gym and did the workout on the treadmill.  I averaged 5:21 pace for 8 miles.

PM: 5 miles easy on the base perimeter road.  It's still cold in the afternoon and the road is still covered in ice...yeah!

Dude, you are an animal. Already doing tempo on Tuesday after that performance?! Fantastic. I appreciate the advice from you, Ben and Scott. The golf was fun just to be out. Pretty lame how many people were backed up into us though. Oh well, cannot complain to be golfing in Jan ever. I look forward to years more of training and racing down the road. Hope to be competitive soon. Much success to the Ogden Crew as North Utah County/Draper looks forward to the competition with yall ;)

Nice tempo--way to get back to business. A nice double for the day as well. Your recovery is awesome as usual.

Great workout so close to the race. Great race by the way. Too bad you have to go to the bathroom every race but atleast you've got it down to 25 seconds. That's almost as impressive as the 1:08.

Great tempo and great double. Keep it up!

Derek, it may seem like I have a bathroom break every race, but this is actually (believe it or not) only the second half marathon I've had to stop in (the other being SLC Half last spring).

Now, marathons on the other hand I'm 100% on those! Oh wait I take that back the Utah Marathon I didn't stop, but I wasn't really racing that one.
