AM: AEROBIC BUILDER

I met up with Bryant at Flying J on 21st Street and did a 6-mile aerobic builder.  The roads weren't completely clear and a few spots had questionable footing, but mostly it was safe to run fast.  I averaged 5:22 for the six miles.  It wasn't too cold out running; what was cold was driving to work after the run in my car with no heat!

PM: 5 miles easy

I thought the exact same thing, it takes 25 minutes for the heat to kick into gear in my jeep... and by that point i'm already there... and FREEZING. Much warmer to just be running!

Haha yeah it's WAY colder than running. I keep a blanket in there to put over my legs and wear my wool coat and leather gloves and I am still cold. Then to make it worse, because I just ran the windows fog up and I have to blow cold air on them to defrost (it's like driving with AC!). The one saving grace is the leather heated seat warms up after about 10 minutes.

I drove a car with no heat for a few years, reading this is bringing back bad memories of shivering at stoplights and not being able to move my fingers.

Great workout Riley. You seem to be in fantastic shape. Excited to see how you race this weekend. I hope you get heat soon. That sounds awful.

Great workout in the morning and nice milage on the day. You are looking so strong. I'm excited to see what you can do this weekend.
