AM: 12.27 miles easy on the base perimeter road.  It was pretty cold running into the canyon wind for first half of the run, but the second half was fantastic.  I felt pretty good this morning (must be that gallon of ice cream I downed over the weekend).  It's getting lighter earlier too and that is nice; less time having to run with my headlamp on.

Lunch: 5 more easy miles on base perimeter road.

nice double brotha...you might even run tonight from what it sounds like. Great win Saturday. Very good time in those elements. Look forward to seeing you and Jake battle it out again at PHX...

Thanks Spencer. It should be fun down there. I'd think Jake will whip me in a marathon, but I'll give it a good try.

Who are you going down there with?

Nice double. It's also nice to know someone else has a weakness for ice cream :) I know Jake does as well. I eat A LOT of ice cream, and I love it!

I am going to agree with Poulsen... While I am at it, I am pretty sure you are doing your third run today. I think we have at least 4 contestants for an after race 1 gallon ice cream eating contest. Me, you, Jake and Matt. Who else is in! I freaking pound a ton of ice cream and if you have not tried Blue Bell Ice Cream then you haven't been to Heaven yet. Look it up if you don't know what I am talking about...

I'm in for the ice cream contest. It's gotta be after a really long run though so I don't feel as guilty for eating it!
