2.2 miles easy with Denver, avg pace 7:25/mile with two uphill strides at the end.

My legs feel pretty good. The only minor concern is my left hamstring is still a tad tight from Provo Half two weeks ago. But I don't think it'll be concern, at least not until very late in the race if it is.

The goal tomorrow is to be on the podium, top three. I don't really have any time goals in mind. I just want to give it a good effort and see where it falls. This course has owned me in the past and I wouldn't mind a little revenge!

Let's all pray for no rain in the morning! Good luck to everyone else racing.

Hey Riley,

Man, you looked so good as you breezed by me at mile 7. I thought for sure I would never see you again. Sorry that it wasn't your day and more importantly, that you aren't injured. Rest up. Even if the full isn't your race, which I think it could be, I know you will get that half OTQ.

Thanks Fritz I appreciate it. I hope you figure your recent struggles out. Keep persevering. My best college race came a few months after my worst cross country season. I was struggling so bad and it just took faith in the journey and perseverance and finally it came together for my running opus. So hang in there and like others have said focus on getting adequate rest. I'm rooting for ya! And once you find your groove again, it makes it that much more rewarding!
